Château
Naujan Lapeyrere
Premières
Côtes de Bordeaux
Tasting
notes
A
lovely dark red colour with orange highlights. Elegant nose,
both intense and complex with smells of red and black candied
berries (wild cherry and blackberry), and hints of tobacco,
leather and toasted wood. On the palate, the tannins are
present but they are well coated and enhance the aromas
of blackcurrant, blueberry, toasted and fresh vanilla. A
well made wine which you can start to drink as of today
(decant it about two hours before serving). Goes very will
with a spit-roasted leg of lamb, or with partridge and cabbage.

Château
Lafleur Naujan
Bordeaux
Supérieur
Château
Lafleur Naujan, Bordeaux superieur grows on clayey limestone
soil planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet.
These well tended vineyards provide high quality grapes.
With this first rate material, our Cellar Master uses a
combination of his know how of traditional winemaking with
performing modern vinification techniques and an ageing
period of twelve months in oak barrels to yield a dark hued,
nicely fleshy, supple, and aromatic wine. A few years mellowing,
this wine becomes eminently drinkable.
It was awarded the Silver Medal in 2000 in Mâcon;
a Bronze Medal in 2001 in Paris

Tasting
note :
Beautiful dark colour with a purple rim. Delicate nose in
which the smells of squashed small red fruit (strawberry,
cherry) mingle with that of withered flowers (roses and
lilac) and spices (coriander, pepper)
The well structured palate harmoniously combines the powerful
aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant, liquorice and white pepper.
The good length finish ends on floral notes. A lovely wine,
delightful to drink with backed leg of lamb or with a stewed
hare.

Tasting
notes :
This well presented wine displays a dark red hue with a youthful
purple rim. A wine of character whose taste reveals a relative
high proportion of Cabernet with aromas of green pepper, bayleaf,
menthol, and dark red berries in the reminiscence. The ample
palate is well balanced with small grained tannins. The aromas
of liquorice, blackberry and toasted flavours are present
in the nose and come up again on the palate.
A wine to enjoy with a dish of stewed oxtail with chanterelles.

Clairet
Tasting
notes :
The
colour is of an unusual transparent yet intense hue. The nose
is expressive and youthful with smells of small red fruit,
acid drops, grenadine syrup, white roses and delicate spices.
The palate it light and fresh, with aromas of cherry, white
currants, crushed strawberry, and ginger. A lovely Clairet
as we like it to be, thirslessening, flowing and fruity. This
is the perfect drink to enjoy before a meal, or on a light
mixed salad, or again, to sip on the terrace while the moon
comes out. |

Sauvignon
Tasting
notes :
Beautiful
golden yellow colour with green highlights. The nose is
very classical, though quite refined for a dry Bordeaux
white wine, with a nice floral aspect (hawthorn, Queen Anne’s
lace and lime blossom), elegant fragrances of green apple
and grapefruit, along with a hint of mineral in the aftertaste.
Intense and fresh entry on the palate followed by beautiful
aromas of quince, poached pear and flowers. A delicate freshness
lifts up the pleasant finish. A perfect bottle to drink
on a warm salad of crayfish or a grilled John Dory (saint
pierre).
